SieMatic Celebrates “Showroom of the Year” Award

The award honors SieMatic Charleston showroom, and those who created it, for outstanding design. Southern Kitchens of Charleston Wins Bridge Run Window Contest

Congratulations to Donna and Nicole Thomas of the Upper King Design District's Southern Kitchens of Charleston. Their window design was selected as the best entry in the Cooper River Bridge Run Window Contest. 

This year the Bridge Run race route will enter King Street at a more northern junction, moving the 40,000 runners and walkers from Meeting Street across Wolfe Street to King. And, it was just announced that 38,000 registrations are filled leaving only the $150 charity  entries available. (CLICK HERE FOR MORE RACE INFO.)

SieMatic Announes Newest Addition to Design Staff

SieMatic Charleston announced the newest member of their professional design staff, Vinson Blanton, who is tasked with continuing efforts to reach the architectural and design trades of Charleston and the region.

Blanton joins SieMatic with strong design credentials and a broad architectural background, most recently as a principal and the driving force behind vbdL, a full-service design studio with a focus in residential interior architecture, specializing in luxury kitchens, baths, custom cabinetry and architectural-molding design.

His collaborative style resulted in awards and accolades from clients, architects, contractors and craftsmen alike, culminating when Architectural Digest featured a renovated NYC Fifth Avenue residence; an achievement of  vision, design and project management talent. Blanton's history of success in multiple design modalities, spanning traditional and contemporary tastes, bodes well for his success and that of the SieMatic brand in Charleston and beyond.

King Street Kitchen Company Inviting Architects and Designers to New Showroom for Design Walk

The King Street Kitchen Company will host an industry-only event for architects and home designers during Design Walk at their newly redesigned showroom with a special guest who has been an international design community legend for over 40 years. 

 KSKC will open at 4:00 PM, one hour prior to the official start of the Upper KIng Design District Fall Design Walk, affording  the opportunity to meet this design legend in a more intimate environment.
