THE KING STREET MARKETING GROUP is an award-winning, unique and successful collaborative marketing program for retailers, restaurants and hotels on historic King Street and the Charleston, South Carolina Peninsula.

Our program includes internet and traditional media marketing, public relations and event marketing. Our mission is to sustain and grow Charleston peninsula businesses and bring them more visitors.

Our fees--or subscriptions--are inspired by the collaborative effect of businesses pooling their resources to make an impact as a group. The King Street Marketing Group will organize shopping for any group, large or small, with emphasis on treating our guests like VIP's, finding the right shops, spas, salons and  to make them enjoy their King Street and Charleston Peninsula experience. Each shopper in the group receives

The Charleston Peninsula Preservation Trust

THE CHARLESTON PENINSULA PRESERVATION TRUST is a 501 (c)(3( corporation developed to support, grow, retain and recruit King Street and the Charleston Peninsula retail businesses, preserving the most unique shopping, dining and commerce experience in the world. 

CPPT offers unique collaborative neighborhood marketing and PR programs to increase customer awareness and traffic for participating shops, showrooms, spas, restaurants and hotels.

CPPT's database and communication programs facilitate regular communication with existing businesses to monitor financial conditions and identify issues affecting the success of merchants. We identify new practices and trends needed to retain retailers and attract new local, national and international retailers in the mix desired on King Street and the Charleston Peninsula.
