On Sunday, May 15th, Charleston's Heirloom Books will host a dinner prepared by Sarah Simmons, FOOD & WINE Magazine's Home Cook Superstar, South Carolina native, and founder of the Manhattan based supper club, City Grit.
Referred to as “one of the most exceptional non-traditional dining experiences on the east coast," City Grit has become one of the most popular dining clubs in New York City, gaining recognition for Sarah as one of the city's most talented "underground chefs." Over the next few months, she's bringing her dining club experience to various cities across the country. On Sunday, May 15th, she will present “Parlez Vous Francais, Y’all!” a five-course tasting menu featuring classic French dishes with a Southern twist, paired with a wine selection provided by Palmetto Distributing. Tickets are $100 and may be purchased online here.
Heirloom Book Company is a bookstore devoted exclusively to the culinary arts located at 123 King St in the Antique District.
