More than 70 members of the Charleston Symphony Chorus gathered on King Street inconspicuously in front of Croghan's Jewel Box and Affordables, completely surprising the Sunday strollers when they broke into a lovely vocal rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah composed by George Frideric Handel.

This was the third time this Fall that King Street was closed for Second Sunday on King Street. On previous closings there has been dancing and music but nothing quite like the stirring vocals by the CSO Chorus.

Bits of Lace presents the fashion event of the season, their bi-annual Lingerie Fashion Show. The event will be held at Southend Brewery & Smokehouse, East Bay at Queen Street, December 9 at Cocktails and hors-d'houevres begin at 6:30, Lingerie Show at 8:00 PM.
Models will wear fine lingerie and sleepwear from Bits of Lace, hair by Salon Couture, makeup by EQmakeup, footwear by Bob Ellis and jewelry by Croghan’s Jewel Box.
