Charleston Number Four of Top 10 U.S. Cities

Travel + Leisure Magazine announced their

Travel + Leisure Magazine announced their "Worlds Best Awards 2009" and Charleston is Number Four in the Top 10 Cities in the U.S. and Canada. The Holy City was less than two points from top pick New York and just slightly behind San Francisco and Quebec. The awards were determined by reader surveys and are featured in the August issue.

Helen Hill, Executive Director of the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, says, “It is a privilege to be recognized again. We’ve known for quite a while that Charleston is a special place with world-class amenities and attractions. The fact that the sophisticated readers of Travel + Leisure also recognize this is an added bonus.”
