Savory or Sweet: Two Dishes from Chai's Lounge

Just look at this unique version of tuna tartare at Chai's Lounge. Three neat piles of the freshest tuna, assembled at the very last minute so the flavors pop, served with three different "smears" of freshly made sauces. Officially it's Sesame Orange Tuna Tartare with Apple Radish Salad, Five Spice Wontons and Chives. Officially delectable.

Something sweet? This Frozen Carrot Cake is unlike any carrot cake you tasted. It's cream cheese semifreddo layered with a delicately flavored light cake, but Chef took the pineapple, golden raisins and pecans out of the batter and reintroduced them as delicious pops of garlish, dots of sweetened carrot puree and swirls of pineapple rum caramel. As beautiful as it is scrumptious.

Susie Ieronemo's Million Dollar Cookies at Fish

When you're indulging your lunchtime Moo Shu addiction at Fish Restaurant, you may notice Pastry Chef Susie’s Ieronemo's cookies sitting innocently on the bar. Anxious for the Moo Shoo rush, you might pass them over. Susie calls them Million Dollar Cookies because of all the gourmet chocolate she uses in each one. White chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, along with marshmallows, and cranberries. Serious cookies. Indulge'; you will not be sorry. They are so good, a little crunch on the outside, a little goo on the inside and stuff, delicious stuff, in every bite. The prefect accompaniment to an already stellar lunch. Wow.
