Jenn Louis, Chef and Co-Owner of Lincoln Restaurant, Sunshine Tavern, and Culinary Artistry in Portland Oregon will be at Le Creuset L'Atelier in Charleston on Thursday, January 21 for a Cooking Demo and Tasting.
Jenn Louis first discovered her love for cooking while making meals for an Outward Bound base camp deep in the North Carolina woods. Now, as executive chef/co-owner of two restaurants and a full-service catering company, she has competed on Bravo's Top Chef Masters, was named one of Food & Wine's "Best New Chefs," and her simple, sophisticated cooking style, utilizing seasonal Pacific Northwest ingredients, has earned her two nominations for the James Beard award of Best Chef: Northwest. Her debut cookbook, Pasta By Hand (Chronicle Books) debuted in the spring, and tells the story of Jenn's passion project: hand-made authentic pasta shapes that she categorizes as "Italian dumplings: comforting little bits of dough, varying in size, shape and texture."
Join her for a cooking demo and tasting from 6:00-8:00pm. $65 ticket includes multiple course tasting, wine pairing, and cookbook. Purchase tickets in advance here.
