The Swamp Fox Restaurant & Bar located in the historic Francis Marion Hotel at King and Calhoun Streets on Marion Square, welcomes new Restaurant Chef, Phil Gaulin. Recently coming from one of the Francis Marion’s sister properties, the historic Middlebury Inn in Middlebury, Vermont in the capacity of Executive Chef, he previously worked for Kiawah Island Resort for many years, after attending Johnson & Wales University. Chef Phil is a South Carolina native and delighted again to call Charleston his home.
Innovative dishes that showcase Charleston’s wide-ranging cuisine are Chef’s specialty and he looks forward to demonstrating his skills with creative Southern traditional offerings.
