3-Course New Year's Eve Dinner Menu from Muse

 Muse Restaurant and Wine Bar  will be offering a special 3-Course New Year's Eve Menu this Saturday for $65 per person which includes champagne at midnight. For $79, you also receive 2 glasses of wine with your meal.The menu for the night is full of delicious options including Crab Ravioli, Roasted Vegetable Salad, Local Oysters, Wreckfish, Grilled Beef Tenderloin, and Buche de Noel. First Course: Charleston She Crab Soup with Lump Crab Meat and Cream Sherry OR House Salad of Baby Field Greens, Pickled Cucumbers, Carrots, Shave Vidalia Onion, and Assiago Cheese tossed with Balsamic Vinaigrette.

Second Course: Stuffed Collard Greens with House Made Pork Sausage in Spicy Tomato Sauce OR Garlic and Herb Goat Cheese Spread served with Grilled Bread and Pickled Onions.

Third Course: Grilled Pork Chop served with Black-Eyed Peas and Rainbow Swiss Chard OR Braised Beef Short Rib served with Potato Gratin and Roasted Vegetables OR Jumbo Prawns Pan Fried, served with Rice Pilaf and a Smoked Corn and Tomato Salad,  finished in a Lobster Cream.

Delicious New Year's Eve Menu at Fish Restaurant

Ring in the new year with French Master Chef Nico Romo and everyone at Fish! In addition to their regular dinner menu, Chef Romo has created a lovely New Year's Eve menu for only $50. For only $15 more you can add specially selected wine pairings to each delicious course. The menu for the night is as follows:

• Appetizer: Blood orange lobster salad in a fried steam bun roll.
• First course: Potato wrapped monkfish, spicy lentils and mushroom forestiere.
• Meat course: Duck breast, butternut squash and celery root quiche, truffle demi glace jus.
• Dessert: Hostess trio of blood orange snowball, fried twinkie, and yamazaki suzy q.

Delectable Fried Treats from Amen St. Fish & Raw Bar

Sometimes you just crave the finer things in life: fried foods. At Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar, you can find surprisingly light, amazingly satisfying fried appetizers and sides. Executive Chef Stephen Ollard adds a unique flair to some fried favorites.

Take Amen Street’s spin on the corndog. This is far from baseball game fare. The first difference would be what’s inside the delicious cornmeal batter. Taste of the Low Country Hanukkah Rack of Lamb Recipe from the Savannah Bee Company

Here is a delicious Hanukkah Rack of Lamb recipe from the Savannah Bee Company. For the honey, why not try their sweet & local Charleston Honey for a taste of the Charleston Low Country.

1 8-rib rack of lamb
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup honey
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 cup dried apricots, diced
1/2 cup prunes, diced
1/2 cup apples, diced
1/2 cup burgundy wine
1 Tablespoon vinegar
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 Tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Rub rack with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine honey, lemon juice, brown sugar and mustard. Baste rack with honey mixture. Roast rack in 400°F oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until medium rare. Continue to baste rack with honey glaze. Meanwhile, prepare Fruit Sauce by combining remaining ingredients and simmering for 20 minutes. When rack is done, let rest for 50 to 10 minutes before carving. Serve with fruit sauce.
