Sustainable Seafood Dinner at Rue de Jean, Mar. 3rd

Join the South Carolina Aquarium's Sustainable Seafood Initiative and Rue de Jean, a sustainable restaurant partner, for a delicious dinner featuring sustainable seafood during the Wine and Food Festival. This event will be held on Saturday, March 3rd from 7:00-10:00 pm at Rue De Jean (39 John Street).

Different than the regular Sustainable Seafood Dinner, a guest chef will prepare special sustainable seafood dishes while you learn how your seafood choices today can ensure healthy fish for the future.

Ten percent of the proceeds from the dinner will benefit the South Carolina Aquarium’s Sustainable Seafood Initiative, a conservation program of the non-profit organization. Purchase tickets here. For more information, call (843) 577-FISH (3474).

Fat Tuesday Riverboat Blues Cruise - Feb. 21st

Registration for the Cooper River Bridge Run is Up

This years registration for the Cooper River Bridge Run is up by 135%! For the past few days registration numbers have been growing by the thousands which isn't a normal increase for this time of year. In 2011, on February 1st, their registration numbers were only 10,700. Today, they are well over 27,000.

If you know you want to do the race on March 31st, 2012, you should try to register soon. You don't want to miss out on the Cooper River Bridge Run's 35th year!
